Boat & Co is an apartment hotel on the water in the Amsterdam Houthaven. It’s close to the historic city center, in an up-and-coming area full of design, good food and forward-thinking entrepreneurs.

They have built environmental friendliness at their core. Literally: they have built it according to Cradle-to-Cradle principles, with sustainable building materials that produce zero waste. All the better for our ecological footprint 🙂 Even their maintenance is environmentally friendly. For example, the building has an innovative ATES system for sustainable heating and cooling. Me personally got attracted by their amazing restaurant Vessel. With its high ceilings with plants and trees everywhere you immediately feel at home in this relaxing environment.
