Flossy Gouda

Recently a special store opened on the corner of Blauwstraat and Hoogstraat: Flossy. A flower boutique and coffee bar where you can go for unique products such as vases and accessories, but also for beautiful real and silk flowers. “It’s all slightly different than you’re used to encountering in Gouda,” says owner Mariëtte van Eijk.

Not your average flower store!

The store has a special atmosphere, the marble round tables and the café chairs are reminiscent of Paris. “We hear a lot from customers that Flossy is un-Gouds and it could have been in Amsterdam. She is also setting up a silk workshop on the top floor. It will be a flower bar where people can bring their own vase or buy a vase from here, made with silk flowers while enjoying a cup of coffee. You take a seat at the bar and choose from the surprising and colourful range of silk flowers from the Silk-ka brand. Not your average flower store I can say :-).
