The good news for me is that this store is on the corner of my street :-). Little Plant Pantry is the first plastic-free shop in Amsterdam. As a speciality food store, they offer organic food ingredients without or with minimal packaging and cooperate with local artisan food producers. Their mission is to avoid single-use plastic packaging and to promote a plant-based diet.

A wholefood store

They sell all the essentials for a healthy diet and lifestyle. In their shop, products are mostly sold loose without packaging in bulk form, including oils, sweet syrups, spices, vegan cheeses, fermented foods etc. You can buy as much or as little as you want. Their pre-packed goods use environmentally friendly packaging only, including ready-made meals for take away.

Food your granny would make if she was vegan

Here you can buy freshly made meals and drinks. For lunch and dinner, hot dishes and desserts are available. They avoid highly processed foods and offer meals that are wholesome and nutritious, such as soups, vegetable stews and pies. Smoothies, speciality drinks, coffees and teas are available all day.

They also offer a range of carefully selected handcrafted products from small artisan producers that express our values in their craftsmanship. They include natural cosmetics, plastic free cleaning and hygiene products.
