Plant swap event 2-4

Last weekend the annual Plant swap event took place, hosted by Fabrizia from Youplantamsterdam. This was the idea: bring a plant, swap it, meet new people and have fun! It took place at Cafe Jakarta in Amsterdam and plant lovers could go and meet kindred spirits, chat about plants and swap their plants for new ones. It was a place to meet other plant lovers over a relaxing cup of tea or coffee and leave with a lush new plant for your home!

Plant swap rules and tips

There where a few plant-swapping rules, to make the experience pleasant and optimised for all:

• You could bring only healthy plants and / or plant cuttings
• You could also swap plant hangers, pots and baskets
• Labels with their botanic name, their common name and your name where obligated
• You shouldn’t water your plants immediately before the event
• And all cuttings should have been rooted already
