From plant to fork. Restaurant De Kas have been working with this concept since 2001. It’s in their DNA, they say. Their gardens in Amsterdam and the Beemster are the heart and soul of their restaurant and menu. They reflect the changing seasons and always surprises.
From plant to fork
In their gardens – greenhouse and open air garden – they grow about 300 types of vegetables, herbs and fruit. Harvested last minute and prepared in the kitchen as quickly as possible. I went there during Covid -19 so we were not allowed to enter the restaurant yet. But now everything is open again I’m dying to check it out! 🙂
